Quality over quantity, a clean 2-0 sweep for UFC 277. Glad I did not advise you to put money on the main or co-mian. We played it safe and it paid off.
Santos vs Hill is another perfect example of quality over quantity. Not betting on the ultimate fighter fights and some of these lines are psychotic. Imagine paying for betting advice and they tell you to bet on Terrance McKinney at (-1000).
Vicente Luque (-175) vs. Geoff Neal (+150)
A little surprised by this number, thought we would see Vicente Luque closer to a 2-1 favorite, maybe around (-230). With that being said, hammer Vicente Luque against Geoff Neal.
Neal's best chance to win this fight is if he knocks Luque out. Which is much easier said than done seeing Luque has never been knocked out in his entire martial arts career. Neal is primarily a striker but even if he looks for the takedown Luque's ground game is levels above his. Now even if you want to say Neal could squeeze out a unanimous decision the stats would tell you otherwise. Luque lands more significant strikes per minute than Neal.
Might only have two bets for this UFC Fight night, but might as well make them stellar. Hammering Vicente Luque. For some reason, the prop bets are not up this week, but I'd look to take Luque by knockout as well.
Bet: Vicente Luque (-175)
Augusto Sakai (+185) vs. Sergey Spivak (-215)
Pretty confident that I have been advising to bet on Sergey Spivak over the years. Went back and looked, guess I never have. Went back very far too, and found one fighter breakdown that had one sentence written. Oh how far Delinquent MMA has come.
Spivak is well-rounded for a heavyweight, he has the power to knock you out but is also skilled enough on the ground to submit you. He's up against Augusto Sakai who is on a 3 fight skid, each loss coming by way of knockout. After three nasty knockouts in a row, you have to question the durability remaining in Sakai's chin.
Bet Sergey Spivak here, would suggest taking him by finish too but like I mentioned the odds are not posted yet. Vegas is slacking on this fight night.
Bet: Sergey Spivak (-215)
