UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw Betting Guide
7-1 in July, ride the wave. UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw could have been a PPV event if their was a title fight on the line. Couldn't find any dogs, only betting favorites for UFC Vegas 32.
Cory Sandhagen (-180) vs. T.J. Dillashaw (+155)
After a long amount of conclusive research, I have discovered the correct answer on who will win the main event between Cory Sandhagen vs. T.J. Dillashaw. Let's consult the research and face the facts.
What are the facts? We have no idea what version of Dillashaw we will see. We do not know how he is going to perform with 2 years off. Now no longer having the advantage of EPO in his system (the banned substance). Way too many unknowns when it comes to betting on Dillashaw.
Cory Sandhagen on the other hand has something special going on right now. After his loss to Aljamain Sterling, he bounced back in an explosive fashion. Content creators everywhere rushed to update their "Best UFC knockout" videos after Sandhagen met Marlon Moraes and Frankie Edgar in the octagon.
Not sure who advised Dillashaw to accept a fight against Sandhagen as his first one back. Everything is going Sandhagen’s way right now and Dillashaw, unfortunately, stands in that path.
Pick: Cory Sandhagen
Kyler Phillips (-255) vs. Raulian Paiva (+205)
Kyler Phillips completely proved me wrong against Yadong Song. Among the bantamweights, Phillips flies under the radar. He has only fought 3 times in the UFC. Each time Phillips steps into the octagon he looks completely improved. The guy is always looking to learn and upgrade his game.
Not a fan of Kyler Phillips being a massive favorite. He is 25 and has only fought 3 times in the UFC. However, Paiva is also another younger fighter with not much UFC experience under his belt either. Phillips seems like the no brainer pick.
Pick: Kyler Phillips
Ian Heinisch (-145) vs. Nassourdine Imavov (+125)
Strange fight for Ian Heinisch to accept against a lower ranked opponent. According to tapology Nassourdine Imavov is the 54th ranked middleweight in the world. Heinisch just fought Kelvin Gastelum who is a top 15 middleweight. Why is Heinisch only -145?
This bet feels so natural, look at experience. Imavov is 25 years old and just 1-1 in his UFC career. Heinisch is 32 and has fought some of the top guys in the middleweight division. The experience factor is all I need to feel confident about this bet. The Heinisch bet feels way too easy.
Pick: Ian Heinisch
Adrian Yanez (-230) vs. Randy Costa (+180)
Adrian Yanez vs. Randy Costa is a potential candidate for fight of the night, made possible by MMA Twitter. The two took a different approach to promote the fight in a fun wholesome manor.
Yanez takes on a fellow Bostonian, Randy Costa. If you know me you know I can be pretty bias, even irrational when it comes to betting on a fighter from Boston.
The two have pretty similar fighting styles. Both 27 years old and fairly young in their respected UFC careers. Costa is 2-1, the 2 wins coming by knockouts in under 3 minutes combined. Yanez is is 2-0, both wins come by knockout as well.
Adrian Yanez has some of the best boxing in the entire division. He’s dominated and out struck everyone in his path. Teddy Atlas has gone on to compliment Yanez’s striking. When Teddy chimes in you know the fighter is the real deal.
Not many fighters are on the same striking level as Adrian Yanez. Last call to claim your ticket before for the Yanez train leaves the station.
Hope you'll understand Costa.
Pick: Adrian Yanez
Four of my favorite bets to make for UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw. Straight betting is always the safer option, but just saying these could make for a nice parlay.
